This guy threw a rooster into the road, screaming at the police, “cockadoodle doo, wake up!” and was dragging his little child around with him screaming, “what do I have to do? Set myself on fire?”. The news interviewed him. I just hope the rooster is okay. And that his child is okay too because that’s not something a young child should be exposed to. Saying you’re going to set yourself on fire and screaming at police who are merely standing there is not appropriate behavior in front of your child.
Working with abused kids has made me so much more critical of parents. You’d feel the same way too if you saw what I do every week.
